About the brand
Lumppings makes videos for brands and creators and sells assets for other editors: paper and dust texture packs, with a free drop of sound effects or textures that anyone can download for a limited time.
Challenge
The client had only a rough idea of the new site and no background in web design. The site had to show the portfolio, sell digital packs and give away free assets for a limited time, all in one place.
Scope
- Plan the site map first, before any design or build.
- Build Home, Work, Shop, Free Downloads and FAQ.
- Make free downloads time-limited: each drop expires 48 hours after it goes live.
Solution
- Drew up the site map and walked the client through every page and decision.
- Prototyped the design on Vercel, then built the final theme in Shopify on Horizon.
- Built the Free Downloads page with a countdown: each drop shows how long it stays available, needs no email, and expires on its own.
- Set up the shop for the texture packs next to the portfolio on the Work page.
