Shopify freelancer in Germany
I am a freelance Shopify developer working from Bad Bentheim for stores across Germany and abroad. You talk to the person who builds your store, with no hand-off between sales, project management and development. When an agency fits better, I will tell you honestly.
Who it is for
- Merchants and brands who want a Shopify store built, rebuilt or adjusted and are looking for one fixed contact.
- Stores moving from WooCommerce or another system to Shopify.
- Stores that need ongoing changes: new promotions, markets or features.
- Owners who want to move from an agency to one person who knows the store.
What I take care of
- Store build. A new store on a Shopify Theme Store theme or as a custom theme built to your design.
- Migration to Shopify. Products, customers, orders and content from the old store, plus redirects for the old addresses.
- Redesign and theme changes. A new theme or targeted changes to the existing one, in an unpublished preview.
- Faster stores. Review and clean up apps, scripts and images so the store loads quickly on a phone too.
- Ongoing support. Theme updates, bug fixes and new features from someone who knows the store.
- Working together. In German, English or Ukrainian, by video call and email.
How it works
- 01First call or store check. 30 minutes about your store and your plans. Or send me your store's address for the free store check.
- 02Fixed-price quote. After the briefing you get a written quote at a fixed price, with a clearly described scope.
- 03Built in a copy. I work in an unpublished theme. Your live store keeps selling, and I apply your feedback in short rounds.
- 04Go-live after your approval. The change goes live only after you approve it. Afterwards I stay on for fixes.
Questions
- Who works on my store?
- I do, from planning to go-live. You talk to the person who writes the code.
- Freelancer or agency: which fits me?
- A freelancer fits a clear scope, a direct line and ongoing support. An agency fits when design, development, photos and ads all have to be ready at once and by a fixed date. The article on freelancer or agency has six questions to ask any provider.
- What happens if you are unavailable?
- The store sits on your own Shopify account, I only have access you can withdraw at any time, and I keep changes traceable. Another developer can take over.
- What does a Shopify freelancer cost?
- It depends on the scope. After the briefing you get a written quote at a fixed price. What the price depends on is covered in the article on what a Shopify store costs.
- Does my store keep selling while you work on it?
- Yes. I work in an unpublished theme. It goes live only after you approve it.
- Is there a free first call?
- Yes, about 30 minutes. Or send me your store's address for the free store check and get an honest view of what would help most.
